Keck Legal, LLC is a dynamic and fast-growing boutique commercial litigation, debtor/creditor, restructuring, and bankruptcy firm located near I-85 and North Druid Hills in Atlanta. We are seeking a motivated and capable paralegal to help support and expand our thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have a genuine eagerness to learn, sharpen their leadership and legal skills, and build a long-term career in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

 

Requirements

  • 2-10 years of experience preparing legal documents and managing client files in areas such as litigation, contract drafting, real estate, leases, corporate and commercial law, insolvency, debt collection, bankruptcy, and/or debtor-creditor disputes.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a proactive approach to task management.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Effective communicator who is comfortable following up with clients and colleagues to gather information.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates initiative and accountability.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn, evolve, and take on new challenges.

  • Collaborating within a team setting and contributing to leadership initiatives.
  • Direct communication with clients.
  • Legal writing and document drafting experience.
  • Creating and refining legal forms and templates.
  • Overseeing case management or project workflows.
  • Designing and implementing office systems and procedures.
  • Managing databases and organizing case files efficiently.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and finalize legal documents, including motions, litigation responses, and proposed court orders.
  • Develop, update, and enhance legal forms and templates.
  • Review client documents to extract and analyze relevant information for legal filings.
  • Communicate directly with clients and attorneys to obtain necessary information for document preparation.
  • Organize, maintain, and review client files and records.
  • Collaborate with team members to create and refine internal procedures for case and file management.
  • Coordinate document exchanges and gather supporting materials from clients and attorneys.
  • File legal pleadings using courts’ electronic filing systems.
  • Conduct online legal and factual research.
  • Provide general support to attorneys and office staff with a variety of legal and administrative tasks as needed.
